Bersin was hit right in the hands which resulted in a INT

Shepard has dropped everything his way this year

McCaffery hasn’t been good when called upon the last 3 weeks in big spots (INT against Minny off his hands, onside kick against GB and couldn’t shake the corner on a 3rd down play against TB resulting in a sack)

Funchess has been a ghost the last 2 weeks

If Bersin dosen't  make this catch well..just sayin. Speaking of last drive. ( Sorry about the vid)

I don't really feel good about our chances the rest of the season with Byrd going out.  He's the only thing that has sparked this offense for the last 2 weeks.  We need our defense to step up big time and score points if we have any chance in the playoffs. CJ coming back will give our run d a tiny boost but little else.

Look at TB defense rankings. Dead last in almost every category and look at our performance AT HOME. With Shula as our OC and another WR going down, I don't feel good about our chances at all. Olsen and Funchess doubled. Clay catching is not good, Shepard catching isn't good and Bersin is just Bersin. Cam Newton is our run game (we'll see what happens when Trai returns), but I have no faith in Stew doing anything meaningful with 12+ carries and of course Ron won't play CAP

It was a divisional game.  Not that it wasn't concerning but it happens.  I'd put more stock in our offensive performance against the Vikings.

Hell we shredded the Packers defense while the Vikings only scored 16, and only because the Packers offense was completely inept.  It happens.

That's irrelevant to the discussion here but I'll humor you. No probably not but if was going to trade KB he would've gotten more than a mid-late 3rd rounder. What's your point?

Regarding that trade...

If the whole issue was that other guys needed more playing time, the depth chart is completely in the hands of the coach.  You wanna bench a guy, bench him.  You're allowed to do that.

Had Rivera simply chosen to bench rather than Hurney trading him, he'd still be an option for us going into the playoffs.

Is he a speed receiver?  No, but he's also a better receiver than who we have on our depth chart now.

We have Olsen and McCaffery at least. As a three-pronged threat, Funchess, Olsen, and McCaffery are better than what we've had in a while.

Double Olsen spy McCaffery and single up everybody else.. Panthers out of the playoffs unless Cam makes miracles happen .. And I swear not one of you Dumb motherfukers better blame this poo on Cam for not being able to carry this trash.. That you are fine with going into the playoffs..

Out of general curiosity, I looked at our previous offensive coordinators compared to everyone's favorite Shula. These figures are percentage of overall passing yards to wide receivers. Kind of interesting, albeit not earth shattering, that Shula consistently utilizes non-WR's more in his offense much more than any other OC we have had.
