What is Byrd's status?

I quickly realized that I have no patience to wade through the toxicity in the other thread.  Can  anyone provide a simple update on his injury and status?

I went it the other thread not expecting it to be that bad. It was worse than that bad.

Have not heard anything yet.  Rivera gave the team the day off yesterday, so maybe we should hear something more today.

I'm hoping for the best, but not optimistic.. Just hope he can play in two weeks

Hope it's not too bad but I'm not getting my hopes up with the way his knee buckled.  One good thing is he was on twitter not long after the game and was hyped up about making the playoffs... sooo... who knows?

Who was it we saw earlier in the season hyper-extend his knee and was back pretty quickly?

Doubt we hear anything until tomorrow when the first injury report comes out.

Wasn't it KB?  If it was him then he came back the very next game.

I think you are correct.  I wonder if that has anything to do with his knee now that he is in Buffalo.  I know he was out a couple of games for them.

Probably didn't help any, but he took a pretty bad hit to the knee in his first game in Buffalo that tore his meniscus I think.  Could've been completely unrelated and just bad luck.
