which is why we pretty much have to hope the 49ers win against the rams which is actually pretty lucky.

reminder, they're the same team that hung 44 on arguably the best defense of this decade in jacksonville. better than the '15 broncos for sure.

The Niners are a different team in recent weeks with Garappolo. It'll be interesting to see if they can carry this late season success into next year.

Playing in NO will be tough, although I do think if we can win there we can win anywhere else given the other NFC teams.

Honestly speaking too, if we lose 3 times to any team we don't deserve anything.

To me, Cam is our biggest wildcard as always. Saints are going to score points. We just have to be able to match them and hopefully have the ball last.

Not gonna lie, the idea of having to face the Saints in the dome in the forst round of the playoffs sucks ass. I get all this talk about ot being hard to beat the same team three times in one season, but they've straight handled us twice. They just look like an awful match up for us this year.

Gotta beat the best to be the best. I'll take a Super Bowl win either way but I'd be lying if I said it wouldn't be bittersweet to not beat the Saints on the way there. I say bring them on. Yes they scare me. But every team in this playoff field should scare us the way the Panthers have shown to play against teams like the Bears, Bucs, and Jets. But then again, we can win against teams like the Vikings and Patriots. We should have won against the Eagles. We can beat the Saints. But we will have to be hyped up and prepared. We can't come out flat like we did the other two times.

Not just Cam, but Rivera and Shula. If we have to face the Saints, we need to go in accepting that they're gonna get theirs and come in with a game plan to try to outscore them. Can't go in with a pussy ass ball control game plan. Six minute drives don't mean much of they end in a punt and zero points against a team that's likely to hang 30 on you regardless.

Oh, don't get me wrong, it'd be sweet as syrup to kickoff a Super Bowl run with a win over a Saints team that whipped us twice in the regular season in their dome, but I'll still hope for the easier path. Not saying that the Rams on the road would be easy, but I'll take the unknown over the known problem. Lombardi's don't come engraved with feel good stories. I just want one, period.

Winning the Superbowl, just like the last trip would have been no excuses, we played and destroyed all the best teams, like a revenge run so no one could have said we didnt deserve it.

This time should be no different.  I feel we got cheated in the last Superbowl because our last revenge game was to be against the Patriots for 2003 payback. Maybe thats why we lost, played down to the competition much like Chicago, Jets and Tampa,.... had we played the Patriots I feel we would have played worlds better instead of like some replacements went in.

Maybe this one is destiny.  The Saints surprised us the first game, were supposed to be less,... were more,.. and the second game was 5 plays from players that wet the bed and choked,...Clay,... punter,... Peppers,.. KALIL,.. otherwise we could have beaten them.

No one is wetting the bed this time,... we are not playing down because its insurmountable odds and its the playoffs.

We will kill them,..

We BITE them,..

Easy path to the NFCCG? What the fug are you smoking. We have horrible holes in the secondary and at WR, and we're likely playing either the best offense in the NFL (Rams) or the best overall team in the NFL (Saints) in the first wild card round. Brees and Goff are experts at bombing down the field off of hard play action , if you think we will breeze by either of those teams at their place you're crazy.

If we get past the Aints in the first round the only other team I'm remotely concerned about is the Vikings (who we most likely would face in the CCG). The Eagles look like a prime candidate for 1 and done after the bye without Wentz, the Rams lack playoff experience, and Falcons/Seahawks are massively flawed teams that won't make a run.
