I don't think the Saints have had a blackout in my lifetime but the poster in question is mentally retarded so it's all good.

your owner and team was gone, but your state government made such a big deal about it,he couldn't have took them to new york, gave out free tickets, and get anyone to go watch them without it being a PR nightmare.you who dat, don't buy tickets got lucky.that team would not be there if it wasn't for that hurrican, cause you people didn't support them.you may now,but you didn't

So why do they move since thye have been selling out.

benson was going to move them then the hurricane hit,and he couldn't move his on team cause the president, the governor, and all the political people were on him to keep the team there to help the economy and give hope to a ruined city

He didn't move because San Antonio could never be the NFL market that New Orleans is. He only entertained the idea of moving because he wanted a new stadium but now he's fine with the renovations that will be going on in the near future. Hence why he signed a long term lease.

Since Stanfield’s arrival in 2000, the Saints have sold out every contest in the Superdome but one. Prior to the 2006 season, an innovative season-ticket marketing program fueled the rise to filling the stadium on a season-ticket basis. Fans on all economic levels were reached to both retain existing accounts and cultivate new ones, and those efforts have built a waiting list that has continued to grow for season tickets for the first time in franchise history.

Hopefully you and this thread will die now.

ok,i've read 3 or 4 things that are totally different than that.but relax sparky, your team isn't going to move till yall get back like yall were then.then the great fans you have will put the bags back on your heads, then next comes no ticket sales.go on the insider if you are a paying member and you'll see you haven't been sold out a decade straight, plus your owner was moving cause he had less season tickets sold than any team in the league and the revenue sharing wasn't helping, yall still were n the red
