I was thinking about our backup QBs and I think if the Giants go QB in the top 3 maybe we should dangle a 3rd and try to steal Davis Webb.  I think he has serious potential down the road.  Thoughts?

I think they keep him

Thus the reason most of my mocks have them trading down Or going OL, because its in such bad shape it diwsnt matter who you put back there.

With a new GM say a Gettleman, could end up not wanting to trade Eli and let him groom Webb for a year or 2

I don't want anything to do with spending a 3rd on a backup QB. I'd probably feel differently if Cam was 35.

Yeah, Cam is 28, not 38. No need to trade a pick when we can just use a 5th on someone like Riley Ferguson

    • Losing Derrick Brown last year was devasting to the defense, however, I also think losing Luvu was too.  I like the focus on the D-line during free agency and the draft, however, I would like to see the Panthers pick up a few more LB to battle it out during camp.  I still don't think this is a position of strength.
    • NFL analysts confirm Panthers GM Dan Morgan committed draft larceny Dan Morgan had a decent collection of picks during the 2025 NFL Draft. That doesn’t always guarantee success, but the Carolina Panthers general manager emerged from his second selection process with significant credit. Morgan played his draft board masterfully. He struck with conviction when opportunities arose, and brought high-character individuals into the organization who should fit seamlessly into head coach Dave Canales’ culture shift. Each draft pick and undrafted free agent must prove themselves in an NFL setting, but fans were thrilled with the haul. (As seen on Bluesky, but those embeds aren't working here yet 🙂   _ https://bsky.app/profile/rawnfl.bsky.social/post/3lnxnosfzju2d source: https://www.rawchili.com/nfl/10067/
