Enjoy the rest of the season, because the Panthers will probably be terrible next year.

Lol no offense, but horrible post, and this is coming from someone whose realism is often perceived as overly negative and pessimistic.

Did you see the calls Boger was making against us today?  Lol, so in a sense, you are right, we were "lucky" to overcome such horrible officiating AND a divisional opponent whose season was already over and their only Superbowl was knocking us out of the playoffs.

Also, luck?  Did you see Crab Legs blindly throw up that can of corn under duress and NOT get picked off?  Did you see him escape multiple sacks the he shouldn't have?  Did you see the multiple holds his line got away with to help him avoid sacks?

Have you ever watched Russell Wilson play?  Lol.  Do you watch any other games on Sundays?  You can nitpick any team in any game and find a lot of luck going their way.  Truth is, luck favors the confident and prepared.

It's all a matter of perspective.  We are not perfect, but I feel we are capable of besting any team on any day.

you arent accounting for injuries. There's always multiple injuries every season , if the last 2 years have taught you anything , its that you are very very very lucky to have all your starters healthy for a full season

lol what.

I think the OP brings up some salient points about drops from other teams and some luck coming our way . But were def not the only team that happens too.

Only thing I can really say is at times, this team has looked really good this year, and other times, they look horrible . Its inconsistency at its finest and it makes it hard to believe that they can make a deep playoff run against a bunch of very good teams on the road. Its possible but improbable. But I'd gladly eat crow if this team of misfits could actually win the SB.

Would certainly make for some rather interesting headlines

It’s no secret, the Panthers have been more lucky than good this season. Let’s start with a crucial drop by Bills WR Zay Jones in Week 2 at the end of the game. Lucky penalties at the end of the game against the Patriots to give the Panthers a first down on the final drive of the game. A windy day at Tampa In the first game leads to an off day for Jameis Winston, despite having wide open receivers all game. A critical drop by Julio Jones against Atlanta hands the Panthers a win. Panthers get to face a rusty and injured Aaron Rodgers, who still almost beats them. Cam Newton fumbles a snap at the end of the game against the Bucs and still scores a TD.

The ball has just bounced the Panthers way this season more often than not. In 2016, luck seemed to be against the Panthers. With a black cat as a mascot, luck seems to be a fickle mistress for this team. So let’s all appreciate this season, because 2018 will most likely be rough when the luck turns around again.

Freaking amazing.  He forgot some of the drops and issues we had as well.

Posters like this infuriate me.  They only post to get everyone worked up.  I think if we can add some depth and maybe replace a starter or two we'll be fine.

I would rather be the Panthers and have actual hope each year than to be like the Browns or Jags (yeah I know they finally made the playoffs after 11 seasons in the dirt) and year in and year out don't have a chance.
