And they already technically signed another receiver this week when they moved Mose Frazier up to cover for Sheppard being out of this game, so there are still five on roster. Heck, there are  two on the practice squad.

If Byrd can't play, most likely they'll go with the five they still have and sign someone who plays another position.

He has about 200 yards this year, same as Shepard, and he was starting there while Shep has been in a very limited role here. There's absolutely nothing at all about Britt's play this year that would point to him helping us whatsoever. There are better guy out there if necessary. And he's a terrible locker room guy who gives up on plays and his team. Nothing about him is desirable to have on a football team.

And right here is the reason to maybe have a WR tryout this week.. If we are depending on Shepard and Frazier we are in for a short playoff run.. Not asking for the team to sign someone tomorrow but at least make a effort to show you are trying to fix this..

And he was playing with a horrible QB on a winless team.. Nobody knows how he would play with a mvp caliber QB on a better team.. But we do know how Sheppard and Bersin have played and still have worse numbers than him...  Say whatever you want but the known right now is worse than the unknown...

Not anyone who will contribute at this point.  We're stuck with what we have.  Only possibility would be Philly as he already knows the offense, but other than that...  i hope Byrd can come back, otherwise, here's looking at you Mose Frazier.
