OK, if you haven't realized you're wrong, then you clearly have issues, but I'll try anyway.

Saying "to not resign Star" because of one play is idiotic by itself. 

Secondly, the play shouldn't have cost us points because it should've been applied to the kickoff after the safety (the refs blew that).

Thirdly, he is our best run stuffer, which helps free up our LB's.

Fourth, he has never done anything like that before...

And lastly, it's simply a dumbass comment and saying one play should negate 4 seasons of work is truly moronic.

Lol he is not our best run stuffer. He's let RBs gash us up the middle all season and he's been letting our LBs get blocked by linemen.  You pay based on what the player has done lately. We have other areas to better spend our money.

Honestly, if his asking price is too high i'd say let him walk. Use that cash on a safety. Run stopping DT's can be found, maybe not at Stars talent level, but you can't keep everyone in this league

And not saying we HAVE to resign him (I like Norwell personally if we had to choose between the two), but the OP was saying because of this play, we shouldn't.
