The Panther's defense is NOT Top 5 in opponents points scored.  Top 5 in total yards ain't worth poo if you're not stopping them from scoring. All Top 5 in total yards and middle of the NFL in opponents points means is that you are surrendering longer scoring plays.

No? That would affect TOP not total yards. 

I disagree with you entirely, total yards is the better indicator of how a defense will do.
