I have an employee who grossly overuses the phrase "you know".

One of my staff say "and everthing" at the end of every sentence. Drives me nuts. Also annoying is her habit of not telling the truth...then there is no eye contact..in fact her eyes dart everywhere else.

Match that with her sister starting each sentence off with : "What I am trying to say is...." and it is enough to plunge rusty corkscrews into your ears.

Frank Garcia on WFNZ is the king of "you know." First he repeats what everyone else said, the only difference being his gross overusage of you know. then he says something dumb, and adds another 5-6 you knows.

It drives me insane.
