Looking back at that inexcusable loss does suck.

At least we are right in the thick of things though. Too many seasons we’ve had were over by Thanksgiving. Before we know it, it’ll be the offseason. Let’s get this done.

i don't think they will beat us three times in a row, but i'd rather not be in a situation to find out. there's no excuse for not winning at least one of those games. we gave them the life and confidence they needed to get the to this point by letting them come in and walk over us early in the season.

Not just that... The Eagles game was extremely winnable (two chances late to score a TD with plenty of time to win it....). If we had won that and still lost to the Bears we'd be in very solid shape to be the 1 seed right now. Damn.

I'd say getting swept by the Aints cost us the division, not the Bears game.

No need to think on the past. Can't change it. Every game we have played have made us the team we are right now. And, I think this team has the potential to do something special.

You could argue that.

I would argue that if we beat an inferior team where the QB completed four passes then our destiny would be in our hands.

Well if we end up making a run in the playoffs, we may eventually look back at the aftermath of the bears game as a turning point in the season. That is a big if though

Everything fell right for them that game.  The fumble return and pick 6 was their offense.

Shula had no answer for a good defense.

I think that game also triggered the KB trade so all in all that game was an eye opener for us.
