It's going to be a Christmas give-a-way at the stadium Sunday.  Santa cam will be handing out football's left and right.  We'll be in the playoffs with a shot at the division in atlanta.  Forgotten all about walking out of soldier field in the misting rain at 4-3 until now.  Thanks Jeremy

It's only one game....

I never understood that mentality but some people on here always say it when we lose a game like that

Look at the standings. Sure, it's "only one game" but only one game oftentimes decides divisions, home field advantage in the playoffs, bye weeks in the playoffs, etc. It's the only loss that we have that we absolutely, unequivocally should have won. That's why it sucks so much. Had we won that game, we're sitting mighty pretty right now. We'd be in the driver's seat for the #2 seed in the NFC. As it stands now, we need a lot of help to end up with that #2 seed. It's not impossible, but it's highly unlikely. The most likely scenario at the moment is having to face the Saints in the dome in the first round of the playoffs. A team that has looked like a match up nightmare for us twice this season. That's the opposite of the ideal scenario for us.

To be fair I thought we were very lucky to win at NE so the Bears game doesnt piss me off as much. To be honest this season has actually gone really well. We have 3 losses to elite teams (NO x2, PHILLY) beat 3 elite teams (NE, MIN, ATL) and 3 other solid wins against playoff contenders (DET, BUF, GB with Rodgers) and 3 of our 4 other wins against lesser teams were all dominant victories by at least 2 possessions (SF, TB, MIA). So if you attribute the Jets win and Bears loss as the couple WTF games we have every year with Rivera we’ve really proven to be an Elite team. Elite teams split with other elite teams, beat the good teams, and blowout the bad teams. That’s exactly what we’ve done

I agree with you 100%.  That's what I was trying to say.   "Its just one game" makes no sense and I do not understand why so many on here say that especially when we lose a game early in the season.  They act as if somehow its not going to count.
