Public Companies and Not for profit companies cannot purchase team, also must be an individual owner.  I believe this was to keep teams from going the greenbay route

Actually, that price is pretty close to what analysts are predicting, with some saying there's a chance it could go even higher.

The post may be satire but they're accurate on the price range.

On NFL radio the the talk was if team was going to relocate it would go higher to about 3 bil but since the city wants to keep it in Carolina it will stay at 2 to around 2.5 bil but things do change just as quickly as they were announced.
