One reported dead (female); Davies and one other injured seriously but not life-threatening.

Davies in surgery this afternoon, requiring 5 hours.

No specifics on his injuries.

Not clear if Davies was the driver or passenger.

He's in serious condition and apparently ill.

Edit: Lacerated bladder, leg broken top and bottom, and a broken elbow. He'll require additional operations but as it stands he's "serious but stable".
