After 8 years of certain Panthers fans waiting for an excuse to say I told you so about Cam Newton, it's really very easy to see through the tomfoolery. 

Also, to be clear, I don't have strong feelings one way or another about Diddy being involved. I just want rid of the southern gentleman bullshit.

I'm confused, if you are a Gentleman from the South, are you not a Southern Gentleman? I am not seeing the picture being painted here. I have met many men with great accolades from the south and are a gentleman...

It was sarcasm considering our outgoing owner prided himself and built the franchise centered around an aw shucks good ol' boy family oriented atmosphere where winning often took a back seat while he spent his days feeling up women and sheltering racist undertones behind the scenes through his companies.

aww gotcha. He was the typical southern gentleman, but I don't necessarily winning took a back seat, he makes more money, the more Panthers win. Did his ways hinder the team, certainly. I just don't think he was doing it on purpose.

Let's not kid ourselves. Jerry Richardson is the poster boy for the average ego fueled wealthy white elitist that is never held accountable until it's too late. Did you even read the articles entailing the things he's accused of? Also, when you think about it, it is not at all shocking that him and Gettleman finally reached a breaking point. Both are egomaniacs. Hopefully DG finally stood up to him at least but who knows.
