Whats Brady Quinn worth?

Regradless of what team he goes to, if He indeed does get traded; he will have a new contract in place prior. His deal is very odd. The escaladors would be viod going to a new team so Im sure its something he and his new team would want. With that said Im dangling a 6th and 7th think we are getting a ton of comp picks for linemen we lost and seeing if it happens.

No Brainner.......... If he is indeed availible.

Have an odd thought. We all know that the browns traded back up into the first round to get Quinn. They ended up moving to the 22nd pick where we held the 25 pick (Beason) I wonder if they thought we were interested? Kanas City, New England and Carolina followed them. Possible KC was interested. Just an odd thought.

honestly, a 4th rounder would not be a desired loss as far as draft picks go, but i would do it and go no higher. he was a 1st round pick and has some upside still at 24 years old. yeah, he's sucked, but honestly, a fifth rounder seems very low value wise...even for the brownies. i know we don't have many picks, but you look at past 4th round picks and it couldn't be worse than brady quinn. you give quinn a good running game and he keeps the defense off the field more and rested, which in turn probably ups our defensive success, which then keeps the offense rested. his contract is odd, but with the connection with jeff davidson, i hope we at least "kick the tires" on this. the free agency crop of qb's next year are not hot either.

Cleveland is a sewer, let's face it, with Mangini possibly being one of the worst coaching hires in recent history.

Kid did pretty decently end of last year when he had a chance, then coach gets fired, another offensive system in, rest is history.

Would I like to have a Clausen, or a Locker, or any of those other #1 QBs, of course; but, our Brain (using the term loosely) Trust traded our #1 pick. They won't be there and if Fox is here, he won't draft them anyway.

To me Quinn > what we have now, younger, stronger, strong arm, with an upside. #4 pick and up, what is there to lose? If he unseats Delhomme, he earned it, if he doesn't he doesn't.

Regardless of what we think of Brady Quinn we won't do this deal. Fox's job is on the line. He must win now and won't be willing to give up Pep for the prospect of getting a quality QB for 2010.

I'd be interested in seeing DE Taylor get some PT. Small for DE but so were Meeks DE's in Indy, but Fox will probably stick with his older players till beyond the bitter end. The Panthers win against the Redskins may have been a bad thing, long term. If the Panthers had lost, then DE Tyler Brayton (a free agent at the end of this season) might have been traded before the October 20th deadline, and Fox ordered to play his younger players like Taylor more. Luckily this season has a lot of very good teams, and the Panthers may be eliminated from the playoffs by the 15th or 16th week, so the young players might get as many as 3 games to show what they've got.

id be sick if we got quinn unless it was for like a 5th rounder which the browns will never depart with him unless they get what they put in at least. Quinn is going to be a bust, and has done nothing to prove otherwise. How many deep passes has he been allowed to take so far in his career? I dont even think Rip would want him. Id rather see us get chase daniel or david booty and put them on PS instead of cantwell

I think the Panthers would be out of their minds to give up a 4th round pick for Brady Quinn (unless it's a 2011 pick), they can get a better QB in the 4th round of this draft.

In 3 seasons in Cleveland Quinn has been given several chances to be the starting QB, but he can't even win the starting job from Derek Anderson, so how could he win the starting job from Jake Delhomme, who has better passing numbers than Anderson? When given a chance to start last season he only completed 50.6% of his passes, for only 5.82 yards per attempt. This season Quinn's completion percentage has jumped to 60.8%, but his yards per attempt has fallen to only 5.4 yards (it should have increased along with his completion percentage), with 1 TD, 3 int's, and a whopping 10 sacks, in 3 games. Quinn was handed the starting job this season, and he could only hold on to it for a game and a half. Quinn isn't worth more than a 6th or 7th round pick in the 2010 draft, and if he doesn't workout, the Panthers have set their team back by at least 3 years, because you probably won't be able to find a good QB in the 2011 draft.

the browns as a whole suck. Braylon Edwards wasn't even trying, and his o line completely sucks. when he performs for a real team, then ill evaluate him.

    • The offensive line has become the strongest unit on the team. They have made the running game click and kept Bryce vertical. The next step is building a dominant Dline. Use the draft and FA to add the pieces needed. That would make the biggest difference. A QB would be nice (Bryce has looked better, but may just be a stopgap at this point.) Defiantly need to get the defense up to snuff. If Bryce keeps improving, he may get another season. They can't go another season with the defense being a weak link.
    • Amazon is pathetic
    • Yeah, I end up watching most of the TNF games on illegal streams because they're better quality than the Amazon streams.
