Whats Brady Quinn worth?

Quinn might be worth trading Landon for, since we have depth at LB. However, I'm not 100% sure he is worth it. There's always been something about Quinn that made me think his marketability pushed his draft status more than his QB skills.

That being said, you can look at someone like Orton and see what a change of system can do for a player. While he doesn't look like Peyton Manning at Mile High, he does look a lot better than he ever did with the Monsters of the Midway.

Heck, Jake wasn't even a journeyman QB before he got here. Quinn might benefit from the more patient style of Fox than he has experienced under Romeo Crennel or Eric Mangini -- two Belichik disciples that haven't panned out as head coaches.

Like I said, might rate a back up line backer, or maybe a fourth round pick, third at best.

Or, he could end up being David Carr, Part II.

lol@all you spectators pretending you know how the game has changed and what it takes to be successful, and you're most awesome scouting of a guy you know very little about.

Know how I know? He's in a Brown's uniform 1st of all, and hasn't had much playing time to work through learning the game.

I'd trade a low pick for him just to see what could happen. Everything else is useless drivel because no one knows how a change of scenery might be and apparently you're putting way too much stock into the Brown's...

He could be a bust. He could also be a reliable backup down the road with the new coaching staff... Either way, a very low pick would be worth it for the reward, if there is any...

all im saying is its easy to say a guy sucks when he's on the browns, jake has ALOT more weapons than quinn or anderson has and he still sucks. whats better, a 8+ year veteran who maybe has 2 years max playing time who has been around long enough to know better than to make the mistakes he makes, or have a young qb who may make those same mistake but has time to learn not to make those mistakes? jake gets a pass from alot of you guys on here because he took us to the superbowl, i f i remember correctly we lost that superbowl. second place is the first loser, and im tired of losing. and losing the same way most every time. fox did the same thing with rodney peete, remember how long it took to get jake in the game? fox and co. have gambled the last two years trying to be good now instead of planning for the future. hows that gamble turning out???

not comparing theirs to ours, your missing my point. quinn is on a sorry ass team with no talent, its hard and unfair to say he sucks. my point is cassell had alot of talent around him and he did well. the browns have nobody, quinn comes in, looks bad, so he automatically sucks. jake has better talent around him right now, and he sucks too. its all relevant, so i guess its better to have a qb suck with talent AROUND him, than to have a qb suck ass cause he has no WR's, no running game, no defense...at least the browns took a chance with quinn, id rather have a coach and organization that attempts and at least takes a chance to get better, than one who settles for what they have, staying complacent.

I would not be upset if the Panthers got him for a low round draft pick, nothing higher then a 4th.

would be interesting to see if the change of scenery will do him any good, I mean Braylon Edwards was out of Cleveland for what 5 days? and he started producing right away.

With our run game ( even if its not producing, at this point its all 8 in the box against us ) and Smith he could be in the right place to do some damage.

I mean based on how the team has drafted QBs so far it might be the safer way to go.

I would hardly blame Braylon Edward's production on leaving Cleveland. He always shines on Sunday and Monday nights. Regular games he kind of sucks. He wasn't all that productive anyway. He's more interested in being a celebrity than a #1 pass catcher.

A few weeks and he will be Mr. Disgruntled again.
