With Greg Zeurlein out for the season with a back injury, he’s going to miss the Pro bowl. Graham Gano is the first alternate.

Who would have called Gano being a Pro Bowler this season? Congrats!

Not sure I would have pegged him a Pro Bowler. But I certainly remember being  on pretty hard when i said he was the safer option over a rookie and that he has been more consistent over the course of several years than not. Look at him now. Proving me right and whatnot.

Gano is 1st in the league in field goal percentage (96.2%) and touchback percentage.

Since when do they count touchback% for pro bowl votes or kickers in general?

Either way Gould has made 36 FG ten more than Gano, and has actually made multiple 50 yard FG’s. Gano hasn’t made a single 50 yard FG this season

Wouldnt how many you kick be based on your team? Some teams score TD's instead of FG, some score FG's instead of TD's.

Harrison Butker - 31/34 FGs, 4/5 50+ FGs, 23/23 XPs - salary $465,000 (contracted through 2018)

Who here believes that Pro Bowler Graham Gano is going to be willing to take a pay-cut to sign a new contract with the Panthers after this season?  I don't.

Who here believes that Hurney/Rivera are going to be more than perfectly willing to pay him even more than he's making now in the future to retain him?  I do.
