JR may already have the deal worked out, we don’t know. He’s not being forced out just yet, he’s beating that to the punch.  Regardless of what he did he’s not a dumb businessman.

Doesn't matter. All that matters is selling that the threat is real. If it was me, I'd probably pitch London.

Seems like building a new stadium is the only way to host a Super Bowl these days. It's never officially revealed, but it certainly seems like the NFL is dangling that Super Bowl carrot in front of these cities' noses to get that public funding.

LOL !sabates, a minority owner of the Hornets...who is not

Those were comments by Sabates, a minority owner of the Hornets....who is not in the group wanting to buy the Panthers.  It is 1 man's opinion.  Not going to fret over that.

Others have said what a good stadium BOA is...and with recent upgrades.  Due to PSL's a complete sellout for years.  Team is making money.  Lots of positives.

Hugh McColl and Jerry are good friends. Wouldn’t be shocked if a plan was already in place. The only problem is that Hugh is also very old, and we may be in this exact same situation again in a few years. Hopefully he will have a contingency plan in place.

Hugh is a cool dude! I sat with him during a preseason game once at his invitation simply because I was taking to the head of security who I'd met at the main BOA building earlier in the day. I did not believe it was HM. LOL. Then he invited me to sit with him.

Hugh McColl is a friend of a friend and is the kind of person we would be proud to have as an owner of the team. He is also deeply committed to Charlotte and the Carolinas, so hearing this news makes me feel better in an otherwise nerve wrecking situation.
