Jay Z used to own the Brooklyn Nets.

no he didn't.

he owned like 1/15th of 1%.

That would have been like Jennifer Lopez claiming to own the Dolphins.

Diddy might could do that.  Might could get into an ownership group and have stake in a tiny piece of the pie.  Majority owner has to be big bucks and be able to get through vetting.....which diddy can't.

There is precedent for a criminal to own a professional sports franchise. I doubt it happens in a league as conservative as the NFL, but it isn't unheard of.

Former 49ers owner is interested in us.

He has a criminal record.

I didn't say he was the sole owner, and Diddy could buy a minority share in the Panthers though I don't expect it to happen.

owning 1/15th of 1%......doesn't mean you can say someone owns a team.  Means they have an investment in the team.  And a small one all things considered.

So yeah, he could be the Carolina Panthers J-Lo.  But why the fug would Diddy want to be the Panthers J-Lo.  That would make sense for Curry or someone like that maybe.   He has roots here.

Relevance. Haven't thought about Diddy since when he was dancing in Biggie's music videos.

that doesn't add to relevance.  That is just a tiny investment.

Plus, any smart ownership group wouldn't want PDiddy trying to create attention from such a tiny fraction of a share......that gives him really no say in diddly about the team. Jay Z was totally different.  Getting him on board made sense.  Diddy doesn't.  Jay Z can invest some money.....ownership group gets a lot out of sitting him courtside wtih Beyonce.  Just all apples and oranges.

He's getting more attention talking about buying the Panthers, bringing diversity of ownership to the NFL (despite not being a majority owner), and even mentioning bringing in Kaep to compete with Cam.

It's just for attention, right after his tweet about his interest in buying he team he retweeted his TV network and posted an ad for tempurpedic.

There you go.

Jerry is selling the team bc of that WORD. Diddy should not be allowed near BOA

More than half the people that entered the stadium said it and I'm fairly confident many have since Diddy went public on his interest. So just stop it bro. This is a matter well out of your hands and everyone else's. For there to be "talks" going on someone thinks differently... Don't even say criminal when speaking on the NFL. Many acts over the last 10 years have been committed from players to coaches, domestic abuse to drug use. You just don't like Diddy and that's cool. But keep it right there bro.
