Jokes aside. There's real research out there to this. I'm not a vegan, but I have good friends who are. I am convinced that the current state of food production is profit driven. When this is the reality, corruption is inevitable.

These days no one can be afford to be uninformed about what you eat, where it came from and how it effects you and the ones you love. But vegans die too.

It would be good to prioritize the diet of your soul as well.

I couldn't do without my egg whites though. Drink those babies straight from the carton. 50g of protein and only 250 calories.

Whatever it takes god dammit!

But I’m the same way I’ll do 1-2 500g cartons of egg whites a day. 1-2 200g chicken with 60 carbs of brown rice meals a day.

Throw some oatmeal in with egg whites if i’m feeling flat or i’ll have some fibre one because I need more fibre and it’s easy that way.

I make up for what I do on weekends since I’m not trying to build muscle but just maintain. So it’s a bit different for me when it comes to being able to incorporate  crap on weekends. I keep my fats lower during the week because of my weekends.

I also do a ridiculous amount of cardio everyday even though no one ever likes to admit that.

You don't have to necessarily eliminate any specific thing, although that is obviously the easiest way to minimize any risk factor. Just moderate and be reasonable. I realize this flies in the face of everything it is to be an American.

Also, this doesn't apply to cocaine. The more you do, the more invincible you become.

99% of their diet is plant based. The other 1% is termites and other insects and the occasional cannibalism. So that is the diet I follow.

Remind me never to come around you on a full moon. Haha. But, if you do eat bugs I’d totally watch.

Personally I try to abide by the Japanese diet, which did without meat for most of the time leading up to and during the Edo period. They did consume sea life, in abundance. They still don’t consume large amounts of meat to this day.

They are also the healthiest people on the planet by far. That’s why I was curious if you made the pescatarian exception like Cam.

My only dislike of vegans/vegetarians is the ones that do it for “the planet” or to not be cruel to animals. If it’s based in health and it legitimately works for someone. No skin off my back. There is a alternative foods doctor who has written many thesis on the subject. Who says when Vegan/vegetarians come into her office feeling bad, she ask do they follow the lifestyle for health reasons or other. If they say other she says “there’s the door.”

that was my face for years

i reached a point where the cognitive dissonance became to great and intersected with some poo going down in my personal life that had me poised to do some drastic poo. cutting meat after being a delighted carnivore for 31 years was pretty drastic, but it was empowering when i did it.

i feel better now than i have at any time in my life.

Because health insurance is expensive, and it would not be if people ate better.

And ask 10 "nutritional experts" what "eat better" means and get 10 different answers. We're mortal beings. We're all going to get sick and die. No diet is going to change that. Most of these extreme diets just move the goal posts from one set of problems to the next. We're all likely best off eating what we want in moderation while making se we get sufficient exercise.
