Report: Diddy to Meet Investors over Panthers Bid; Colin Kaepernick Involved

Colin and Steph needs to partner/boss up with someone else if he’s serious about owning a piece of a NFL team. Diddy’s baggage will be brought up (as it should), and he won’t even be considered.

JR is being outted due to his misogynist ways and acts of racism. With Diddy, all they’ll have to do is look up some of his lyrics, and you’ll find misogynist views in them. Not to mention his past allegations, and his possible connection to the murder of Pac. I forgot about his connection to the club shootings that eventually lead to his artist serving a bid. Sit this one out Puffy, but I still don’t think he’s being serious.

Diddy actually had to settle and pay millions to the three shooting victims at the nightclub. He also plead guilty in the assault of record executive on a plea down to a charge of harassment with punishment of a day or two in jail and anger management . Also his arrest for assault with a deadly weapon on his sons football coach just two years ago.

Based on this ^^^ I think it is safe to say any group with Diddy involved doesn't have a chance in diddly of buying the Panthers.

On top of everything else, he really doesn't have the money to be the majority owner.  Yes, Forbes placed his net worth at about 800 million, but while that seems like a lot, it's really bottom of the barrel for an NFL owner.

The minimum a majority owner must pay to own a franchise is 30% of the sales price.  So, if they are just buying JR's piece, then that would be 30% of roughly 1.2 billion, which equals about 360 million...and that's if he just bought the smallest piece he was allowed to.  That right there would take a huge chunk of his worth.  But to own a franchise, he would also have to have 250 million in reserve as operating expenses.  So, he would have to personally allot roughly 600 million towards owning the franchise.  That would put him at the bottom of the list of majority owners wealth...by a country mile.

So between all of his baggage and the vast majority of his fortune going towards owning the team, there is little to no chance that he will be the majority owner.

I  think it's would be good to let diddy and kap have a piece of the pie. The NFL has been the good ole boys club for far to long with the majority of the players 70% black and not one black owner. It would go a long way with the public and bridging race relations. It would even hush the calls for cap and mend some of this flag issue stuff. Imagine the signing power we would have in free agency with players flocking to sign and play for diddy.

I'm sure the league would love to have a minority owner, these are just not the right owners.  Regardless, the other owners would never approve a group that includes Kaepernick, who has proven he will use his platform to draw attention to affect social issues he believes in...regardless of what the NFL wants.  They want people that will play ball with their agenda.  Never mind the shitstorm that would hit if they approved someone with such a checkered past, particularly regarding possibly THE hot topic going right now.

If you don't know the names of your team starting lineup offensively and defensively and their position, you shouldn't be the owner period. We here to play football and win superbowls.

Hell, he doesn’t even know the team name let alone it’s players.

Diddy is a mysogonistic, rapist, murderer. No way in hell his ass gets anywhere near this team. If JR is being outed for being a sexual predator, no way in hell someone who literally had others murdered gets anywhere near this org. Diddy is better off working the snack bar. He knows this and this is all a publicity stunt.

Not sure he is serious.

However, it is a great way to get some free media attention.

My best case scenario:  Hoping for a group that has deep pockets and extensive experience running successful sports franchises.

Diddy could be part of that group, but based on his comments so far, I wouldn't want him to have controlling interest.

Based on his agent and spokesperson, he's completely serious and he's worth North of 800m.

The undertone in some of these comments is dispicable..

Well, don’t create misogynistic music, sexually assault people and have others killed. If ya avoid that, there won’t be any “undertones” when ppl discuss you. Diddy is a garbage human, his past proves that.
