I am a little nervous about Faine coming back but thats it.. Thats the only thing.

Even with our pass protection problems Bucs will not have a chance. If Faine is out again or not 100% I think we will have a ton of success with our new blitz thing going, Beason and Davis will have another good day.

Bucs cant run... well they cant really anything. If we for once stop with all the turnovers we win with ease.

27-10

For most of his career Jake has been a Buc killer in Tampa. Unfortunately no one knows which jake will show up, the one that killed the Bucs over the years or the one that was killed by Tampa last year.

I think it will be close as they always are but I think our defense is playing better right now and with "Buffet" Thomas in the middle we will be much stouter against the run. I still like our chances if it is a passing contest as our secondary actually looked like they were trying to defend a pass or 2 on Sunday.

In the end who knows who will win the toilet bowl this week. I don't know if bragging rights are in order no matter who comes out on top.

Tampa is just a young team. Panthers are the better team this weekend. However, if they lose, every Carolina Panther coach/player/owner needs to take a long look in the mirror and say "will this team win a superbowl" and if the answer is no, it's going to be a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG season.

I can answer "no" to your question right now. Don't have to wait and watch what happens this Sunday.

Just checked the stat line....

You consider his performance good?

He completed 50% of his passes......53 passer rating....fumbled twice (neither was lost)....and threw 3 interceptions.

That is worse than Jake...and we want to burn him at the stake.

I guess when you suck as bad as the Bucs, you consider JJ the shining moment.

stat lines are garbage and say nothing about a QB decision making process. 3 picks on Sunday, wow he must suck. 2 picks came when a free runner was let through the A gap, the gap on either side of our back up center, and the last hit a receiver in the hand and was tipped up in the air.

he should have held the ball taken the sack and kicked the field goal or he was mistaken on his hot route. JJ is a very smart guy and this will not happen again especially b/c peppers is on a down year.

Again, not saying anything about JJ other than he made many nice throws with people right in his face. sure he made a few mistakes but its his 2nd start and even a moron can see the potential there.

it'll be a good to watch, stop playing fantasy football for a few minutes and put down the madden controller and watch the game closely. BTW i counted 7 or 8 drops. can drops affect the stat line?

Love how Saints fans for the past few years have used stats to prove how great they have been...becasue their stats were good.

Now, Bucs fans don't use stats because they prove that they are not good.

Ok, stats are part of the story.

JJ's stats sucked....and the Bucs got the poo kicked out of them.

I would give you this arguement if he had that stat line, but showed great leadership in leading his team to a victory...or even a close game. He did neither. He had a bad stat line during a game where the team got crushed.

We want to shoot, drag, and hang jake for doing the same job that you are bragging about.

But then again, you are the Bucs.

stats prove nothing. JJ's stats sucked but it doesn't matter. what matters is he improved significantly and he showed great leadership. my point is this.... interceptions usually involve more than the QB sucking. just b/c we didn't win doesn't mean that he didn't show good leadership.

is it possible that jake went from solid QB to trash in 7 weeks? not likely, something else happened to him/your team that significantly affected him. i don't know b/c i don't watch the panthers games but i am going to assume that your offensive problems are deeper than jake throwing picks. we'll see i guess.

this should calm you down.............

Earth the Panther fans...

That is the difference in our fans.

Jake is playing like crap and we want him gone.

JJ is playing like crap and Bucs fans think he is something to brag about.

JJ's stats in that game were as bad as Jakes....and you are the one bragging about him.

Bucs are back to where they belong....the butt of a joke in the NFL.

How did he improve signifianctly and show leadership...he was fumbling, bumbling, and throwing incerceptions....not to mention leading the Bucs to a blow out loss.

Yep, that is what I want in my QB.

Dude....you are the one bragging about a QB that had a terrible performance in a blowout. Not us.

Jake is struggling and we know it....most here want a change in QB.
