I dont think it was in his head at all.  I remember JR trying to make him a more vocal leader. The great things he did was never enough for many fans, they would say he took plays off.  He was always one of my favorite players and a one of a kind talent.  So glad he could come back

15 seconds of Pep screen time is all I got and now I’m watching this fuging trash saying to myself I can’t believe Hencha deliberately trying to hook up with this dude just to piss off Astrid. 

Like, I’m a grown ass fuging man and my crooked ass wife tryna get me emotionally invested in these bitches based on my Panthers fandom and some fake ass Peppers screen time.

I just don’t see expecting Pep to be what we had already in Jake, Smitty, Morgan/Beason, Rucker, Minter, Kasay, Moose etc etc.

We had plenty of leadership his time here. If anything folks wanted him to take that next step and he just wasn’t comfortable.  He left, sorted things out, now it’s all good.
