It's not on the programming schedule for week 17. I think it has to do with NBC's New Years coverage in Times Square.

Why are people obsessed with flexing? The most popular time is the late afternoon game. The night game seems to get as many ratings as the early. According to Joe Buck at least

Actually, a simple Google search has proven myself wrong... you're correct.

I was going by the ESPN playoff machine. I guess the 8:30 slot isn't listed because the game will by default be a flexed game.

Honestly, wouldn’t surprise me if we rest players knowing we’d have to depend on Tampa to get the division. The only thing that sucks is the games are at the same time. I’d love to get some dinged players some rest but we won’t be able to unless NO gets out to a huge lead. 

Falcons will still be playing to make post season.

Yeah that’s why I thought you were right lol. NFL schedule has nothing penciled in for wk 17 so they’re obviously waiting to see which matchup looks best

I will be in ATL with the Riot. This is certainly a concern for me with how I spend NYE and when I get out of town.
