Jameis looked really good tonight.  Extremely good.  His receivers did as well.  He found ways to keep plays alive, and while he doesn’t have Cams legs, he is more accurate passing on the run.  That 4th Q TD was beautiful.  Our secondary has to stay in coverage and be disciplined  next week.  Without that Peyton fumble at the 5 the Falcons would be out of it.  Surprisingly, this doesn’t hurt us if we can win next week.  IF we win, A Falcons win would be huge. If we don’t, pray to God the Saints win.

Took me a second to understand that diagram...

Anyhow, the only two relevant scenarios are:

  1. If beat tampa and atlanta beats the saints this week, our game against atlanta will be for the division winner

  2. If we win out and and atlanta loses againts the saints, we would win the division if tampa beats the saints week 17, which is probably not going to happen.

so if Falcons and Panthers win next week, Saints cant win division

if we win this week and lose to atl we're 11-5. If atl wins out they're 11-5 and win the division since they will have the better divisional record. )Ugh, I'd rather NO win the division than atl) So yes, if atl and Carolina win this week the division will go to whoever wins our week 17 match up.

sorry...I had to do the math.
