Lol...I know it's in jest but in today's climate chivalry may fall by the wayside for fear of misinterpreted intentions.  Don't even get me started on how you should approach a woman in a bar without coming off as a creep.

I'm going to become a hermit.

Or, you know, don't be fuging creepy. It's not that hard.

Yep, so having manners for the ladies is a thing of the past.

The old man probably said things like “ you remind me of my,..” or “ you look lovely today,..”

we need to cancel all jeans days at work,.. and ban any man from holding a door.

what do we do with women who are HR inappropriate?

oh,... nothing,.. they are all victims.

We should also require Victorian era dress for everyone.

Oops,... say that and get labeled with Body Shaming,..

the world has gone mad

The simplest thing would be for everyone to take responsibility for their own actions and to treat everyone they way we want to be treated.

Manners have been a thing of the past for many years now.  Although I have taught my son's to be respectful and always have manners, especially around women.  But that seems to be the exception nowadays.

I'd hit it....

I'd hit it so hard......

Make no eye contact with females, especially at work.

speak to no female without a neutral observer and a full recording of the conversation

date no one except through a dating app where there is proof of both wanting to go on a date.

if a woman at work wants to be in charge, get out of the way and let her unless you want to have allegations thrown your way.

thats the rules

Very true.  But the definition of a creep seems to be varied depending on who is making that determination.  Kind of like what constitutes a dirty hit in football.

It also depends highly on what type of advancement or paycheck opportunity there is for the “victim”

I have no problem with her promotion if she is actually qualified but this just reeks of desperation to look pc by the Panthers due to the JR allegations.   Aside from holding a mix of jobs in the organization over the years exactly what are her qualifications ?  - She invented the keep pounding drum ?  The fact that she is a woman to me seems a bit too coincidental.

Except she's apparently already been serving as acting team president since Morrison left, so basically she was already front and center, but none of us had heard of her.

Just like the case of many subjective concepts, feelings tend to replace facts. You feel that the sky is red, well it must be red. I can list all facts that prove that it is blue, but it won't matter.

I personally just keep my side of the street clean, especially at work. I make absolutely zero contact with people at work unless they initiate the contact (almost always a handshake). My manager is actually a female. Very cool lady. She tried to hug me once, she opened her arms, I went in, but it was one of those minimal contact hugs. I got bills to pay man.
