Thomas Davis Suspended 2 Games

Definitely thought he should have been suspended for a game, but two seems excessive given:

1) the 1 game suspensions for similar hits this year (and for Gronk’s ridiculous shot)

2) the fact that Seattle’s ‘Man of the Year’ and Co. skirted punishment after their behavior vs the Jags. 

 

NFL needs a far clearer ‘discipline rubric.’

I'll bet this will be reduced to one game with appeal. If not Davis should go the same route that Elliot did with injunctions and what not and just retire in the offseason after we win the super bowl and give the nfl commissioner the middle finger

Other players have gotten 1 game but with TD getting 2 is beyond pathetic. Some of the other hits on players were much more worse than the TD hit and he gets 2 games. Hopefully he can get it reduced to 1 game but if not it is a crock.

So Gronk launches one of the dirtiest and most uncalled for attacks on a player I have personally ever seen in the NFL and gets one game. But an illegal crack back block is two games?

Well, if TD played for the Packers and did this to another QB, he wouldn't have gotten suspended and probably gotten a 10k fine.

I havent read the comments here but we all know the NFL is fixed for those few franchises that really generate revenue.  No one wants to see the Patriots fall without Gronk, so one game.  No one wants to see the Seahawks out of the playoffs, so no suspensions.  No one nationally cares about the Panthers, plus they'd rather have the Falcons or Saints so of course we get the 2 game suspension.  Its what should be expected, like death and taxes and lack of media coverage even when we are 13+ wins and get bashed for taking a team photo.

As much as I like TD this is the 3rd time he has hit someone in the head. Gronk got 1 because it was his first offense so 2 for the 3rd offense makes sense.

1 game should be sufficient. With TD getting a 2 game suspension which is ridiculous and dumb because it isn't right to bring up past incidences to make suspension longer that have already been dealt with fines already.
