Thomas Davis Suspended 2 Games

Well you MFs can’t have it both ways. All the traitor trash talking of Davis all over this place and then everyone loses their minds on 2 games.

its not just that it’s bs, it’s also hypocrisy with so many others in the league getting nothing or less for more more flagrant violations of personal conduct and game violence.

funny, all last night and this morning, “Panther” fans everywhere saying he should be suspended, dirty player, repeat offender, POS even,..

now everyone defends him and is upset.

like I said,... Worst Fanbase,.. Ever,..

No I'm pretty set on where I stand.

Davis deserves to be suspended. And if they give him 2 games and stick with it, and they're actually consistent with dishing out and sticking with 2-games, then I have no problem with it.

However, if they don't overturn it and stick with 2-games, I'm still going to think Davis deserves it, but I'm still gonna call out the NFL on their inconsistent bullshit. All year 2-games had been knocked down to 1, and Burfict, an actual violent, dirty, POS player got a 5 game knocked down to 3, but suddenly TD, one of your proud "man of the year" players gets stuck with it? That's horseshit.

On top of all this, players like Gronk and Bennet, the latter of which has done similar poo in losses (see: SB loss) got 1 game and nothing respectively.

I'm not hypocritical or a traitor. Just calling it like it is, the NFL needs to be consistent if they actually care about player saftey (spoilers: they don't.)

The NFL changed the rules on repeat offenders didn't they? I recall when it came to Suh he was considered NOT a repeat offender when he stepped on Rodgers because he has a certain amount of games I thought it was 32 or 33 without a fineable or suspendable infraction. I know this doesn't apply to TD as he did have the helmet to helmet fine earlier this year, but the years prior to that don't count only the the 33 prior to yesterday.

Crabtree and Talib started as 2. Appealed down to 1. Same with Danny Trevathan. Same with most 2 game suspensions.

Not saying don't be mad at the inconsistency, especially with Gronk, OBJ and Bennet, but TD will be knocked down to one.

We'll see if it get's knocked down to one, I don't trust this league when it comes to the Panthers. See Super Bowl 50.

Burfict was out there trying to decapitate people for years and it took them forever to finally suspend him.

Now Thomas Davis a Walter Payton Award winner is a "repeat offender"

They wanted Green Bay to win so bad yesterday. And definitely wouldn't mind the Panthers losing out in the playoff race especially when a more high profile team like Dallas still has a chance.

Also with the ownership in turmoil.

"They" the league office definitely don't want a QB like Newton winning the Super Bowl.

I agree with most of this, TD is a repeat offender tho by the book, though he's not intentionally dirty like people are making it out to seem.

Pretty much where I stand on this is summed up in my last post. I just want some sort of consistency from the NFL at this point.

How can somebody be a repeat offender when they haven't ever been suspended before?

What merits no suspension but just a fine?

What merits one game suspension?

Give me a break. Like what Gronkowski tried to do to the Buffalo players neck. Two games for a blind side block that isn't even on the level of some offenses that only received one game.

7th in a 12 year career most definitely is not a lot. Actual "repeat offenders" have that much in a couple years.

He has as many as Clay Matthews.

But hey guys.

http://www.espn.com/blog/green-bay-packers/post/_/id/898/matthews-deserved-fine-but-not-criticism

ESPN says he doesn't deserve criticism...just a fine.

HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Maybe we should get Diddy to own the team...probably wouldn't be the bitch boy for the NFL using us to "send a message" when you could have done that to much more deserving players many more times over. I hope Rodgers fugin plays next week and Adams too. Get you some Vikings.

This is TD's SEVENTH offense.

That's a lot.

Stop pretending it isn't.

That's 7 plays out of how many plays TD played? That's not a lot

And this is the first time where it was a CLEAR helmet to helmet, flat out bad play. If TD had SEVEN of these plays then I can understand. Come on now PANTHERS fans
