He's been fined once that I know of.  Ejected once too, but not suspended.

For making contact with an official, ok. But Davis launched and speared the guy, I’m 53 and remember Darryl Stingley. That was a bush league hit.

I'm old enough to remember Stingley, but Tatum was an ass.

Davis isn't an ass, but he's a very physical player and stuff happens.

That hit was with intent, not only did he aim for his helmet, he launched himself after contact. But I do disagree with 2 games, the NFL needs to adopt the college rule for targeting.

The hit was not intentional and did not launch himself. TD does not intentionally hurt players for one so get your facts straight and right.

Go watch the video again. Id rathered get torpedoed in the body rather than the head. That is going to give you CTE in the future and you going to die a terrible death from the inside out.

Exactly. I get that he's being suspended since he has already been fined for this once this season, but 2 games is BS. It's not like he's Talib or Burfict, who pull this kind of crap (and a lot worse) every game.

So apparently Aaron Rodgers is the new NFL commissioner..

he doesn't win and plays terribly so he tries to hurt Panthers chances in calling for punishment on Davis..

Anyone with eyes could see Davis was extremely remorseful for that hit..

Exactly. It wasn’t a big deal until Rodgers whines about it. They showed his past fines on ESPN making a big deal about a late hit penalty...a ton of players have late hit penalties. They then made a big deal about his helmet to helmet hits which he has three of. The Humphries one was bogus, the Adams one was bad so I get that, and I can’t remeber the third one. I am sure it was not with malicious intent. So dumb, mike Evans ran across the field and leveled a saints player in the back and gets one game. Gronk intentionally tried to hurt someone and gets one game...Thomas makes a play and gets 2.

i find of funny the NFL used the same wording as Rodgers hmmm
