Adams calls TD “Head Hunter”

Get the fug out of here with that wack poo.

Even Thomas Davis apologized and said it was a mistake. You can do something dumb, dirty and reckless and it be a mistake. TD left his feet and led with his head. Be real with me: If Clay Matthews did that to Devin or Greg, and even apologized, and we lost, everyone one of us here would be salty and calling for Matthews head.

I'm not throwing TD under any goddamn bus. None of us are. No one here even agrees with Adam that he's a headhunter like with Burfict. Good people can do bad and dirty things. No one is saying TD is a dirty player, he just made a dirty play.

I'm a Panther fan and I'm gonna be a Panther fan til I die. But I'm not a blind Homer with little regard for another humans well being like you are.

Ragu, did you not read my #1 statement where I said it was dumb and reckless? Good Lord.

But dirty? No son, there isn't a dirty bone in TD's body on the football field. You can't do something dirty and unintentional. He just missed where he wanted to block him. It was dumb; it was reckless, but it was an accident.

I honestly don't think Devante Adams is a very good person. I think he takes his trash talk too far. Trevathan targeted him earlier this year and Eric Kendrick's head-butted him. The defense and the Packers offense were having a lot of back and forth during the game, and I think Adams said something too far. I don't think the headshot itself was intentional, but Davis left his feet, led with his head, even if he hits his chest, that's illegal, that's literally what happened with Smith-Schuster and Burfict. We've seen Davis have incidental helmet to helmet before, hell he's been fined before this year  for it, but he never reacted like he did here.

It's still a dirty play, but the headshot itself was definitely not intentional.

It's going to be flag football before long. The media and all the whiners are pushing the NFL to extinction.  This is why if I were a billionaire I wouldn't want anywhere near an NFL team with the way things are trending.

Yeah man it's fuged that a lot of these people using their talents to make sure they and their family are well off are worried about their health and longevity and want the game to be safer are fuging us out of hard hits.

Typical BS. IT'S FOOTBALL. sometimes you're going to hit somebody in the head. Anybody on this board would swap places with them in a minute. Go to your safe place and cry me a river.

Yeah like all the rugby players that go through this despite it being an equally violent sport.

Oh. Wait.

IMO opinion it's not looking good for Davis, as 1) the block was an illegal crack-back block, 2) it was clearly helmet to helmet contact, 3) he injured the other player who no longer could play the game, and 4) Davis is already fined this year for an illegal blow to the helmet.  Like it or not, I think Davis is going to be suspended, regardless of what his intent was or how sorry he felt afterward.

Which brings up another question -- if Davis has to sit, is Shaq ready to go?

suspensions are always handed out the day after, usually between 3-6 PM. so we will know in the next few hours.

Y’all talking about TD like he’s Vontaze Burfict.  The hit was illegal and I’m fine with whatever penalty the NFL gives him, but please tell me you know the difference between a man like TD and Burfict.  Split second reactionary yet terribly miscalculated block versus a premeditated assault.
