Adams calls TD “Head Hunter”

1. The hit was dumb and reckless.

2. It was not "dirty" though and if you see anyone say it was, you need to forever distrust them, especially if they claim to be Panthers fans. You can't have an unintentionally dirty play, because dirty by its very definition means you're doing something intentional. Players sometimes do unintentionally dumb and reckless things when making hits: Luke's concussion problems started when he lowered his head to tackle a Jacksonville Jaguar.

3. There is no worse fan base than the Panthers when it comes to throwing our own players under the bus. I'm really sickened by how many "Panthers fans" I've seen on social media lecture other Panthers fans about how TD was dirty on that play. *No other fan base in the NFL* would have as sizable a chunk of their fans call their player's hit dirty like ours. I'm really disappointed.

Ok your comment is irrelevant.  Just because Cam has taken that hit and not been called doesn’t mean TD is allowed to make that hit without penalty. We all whined and bitched when those hits in Cam went uncalled.  And now some of you are bitching that the player on the end is complaining of a similar hit?

Cam himself called out the officials and met with Goodell over the hits.  And we applauded him for it.  So now Adams can’t complain about an obviously bad illegal hit?  Come on guys.  Davis made an illegal hit.  Adams has the right to bitch.  End of story .

Did Cam call out a single Bronco by name though?

No your comment is irrelevant...he did get a penalty and no one is saying it wasn't or shouldn't have been a penalty. That's where it ends to the regular minded people.

No he doesn't get to bitch when there was a penalty called. CAM DIDNT GET A PENALTY SO HE WAS BITCHING ABOUT IT MAKES SENSE IN THAT REGARD.

Let me repeat that in recognition of my previous post....so you can understand.

You got hit illegally and a penalty was called, apology was made.

Cam gets hit no penalty is called, apology not made.

Come on....you can do it...what's the difference?

Stop with the god damn condescending tone.  Im tired of this poo on this board. You can make an argument without trying to be insulting.

I get what you are saying.  And what I’m saying is that an apology doesn’t mean a player can’t still express his frustration over a dirty hit.  Yes a penalty was called.  As it should have been.  Yes Davis apologized.  Like he should have.  So Adams should just keep his mouth shut and not speak of it?  Yeah right.  If it was our player in the exact same situation, then we would be bitching as well.  I’ve seen countless threads on this board about people complaining on various illegal hits even after a penalty was called. The fact that a flag was thrown doesn’t cause people to shut up.

Get the fug out of here with that wack poo.

Even Thomas Davis apologized and said it was a mistake. You can do something dumb, dirty and reckless and it be a mistake. TD left his feet and led with his head. Be real with me: If Clay Matthews did that to Devin or Greg, and even apologized, and we lost, everyone one of us here would be salty and calling for Matthews head.

I'm not throwing TD under any goddamn bus. None of us are. No one here even agrees with Adam that he's a headhunter like with Burfict. Good people can do bad and dirty things. No one is saying TD is a dirty player, he just made a dirty play.

I'm a Panther fan and I'm gonna be a Panther fan til I die. But I'm not a blind Homer with little regard for another humans well being like you are.

It was an ugly hit.  Glad he at least apologized for it.

People bringing up Broncos dirty hits on Cam.  Not sure any one of those Bronco head hunters apologized about the hits after the game.

You're missing the reason people bring up dirty hits against our players.

Because if this was a Packer doing the exact same to a Panther, apology and all, and they apologized, and WE lost because of that, we'd be just like Adams and many Packers fans right now.

It's a double standard and it's shitty.

I understand what your saying.  That Broncos game made me mad as hell.  Till this day, fug the Broncos.  It doesn't mean I can't point out that I'm glad TD at least apologized for it instead of not giving a fug.

That's completely fair. I'm just as mad about it because the lack of calls for blatant headhits on Cam is another shitty double standard.

TD has been in the league for a long time.  At one point in his career, that hit would have been celebrated on a segment called "Jacked Up!".  Now everyone is more aware of what these players are doing to their bodies playing this game.  Instead of the hit being promoted by ESPN, he's rightfully being crucified for the shot.  It's amazing how quickly this game changes.
