Jeff Bezos moves Amazon HQ to Charlotte, buys the Panthers, changes B of A Stadium to Amazon Prime Stadium. Welcome to the Jungle is already our kickoff song. Make it happen.

If it means I can start getting my online Panthers gear with free two day shipping from the team store I am in.

My pick for the Carolina Panthers recently opened majority ownership position:

Current Carolina Panthers minority share holder Tim Belk

Relatively young (60) local guy. Would never move the team. Family has strong ties to the Carolinas.

Already has the Belk Bowl at Bank of America Stadium. Obviously loves football.

Recently retired from Belk. Plenty of free time.

Family is worth billions.

Cam's clothing line!

That is true but celebrities/athletes could easily go the Jeter route.

Please for the love of god no.  I don't see the NFL giving a team to someone who clearly can't afford it, which is what happened to Jeter.

It would be our luck, they would sell to some former NFC South player, who would then start a fire sale of all of our talent to teams within the division in an effort to get out of the hole.

Please god no.

As long as they don't somehow plug Deion Sanders into the mix in an NFL Network show called "Prime Time" I'd still be for this.

Goodnight would make sense, since he's the Owner of SAS which is an NC born and breed company.  Plus, he's worth 9.6 Bill.

That was the first person that I thought of when I heard the news.

Plenty of cash, and wouldn't be meddlesome...at least that's my take on him.

If they had knowledge of the payouts they might not be able to own the team.

Even if true, that might be difficult to prove.

But beyond that, with Richardson agreeing to bow out, the NFL is not likely to continue its investigation so no further details will be forthcoming.
