The last time I heard someone call the Panthers the North Carolina Panthers was in the early 90s, I believe it was Barry Switzer and his team got whacked in the Playoffs by the Panthers

A business associate a few years ago called them the Charlotte Panthers... Not sure if that or NC is worse...
