If JR Sells The Team, Doesn't He Decide Who To Sell To?

The other owners have to approve it. It was already a topic of discussion in league meetings at March. Any new owner would have to sign like a 20 year commitment to Charlotte.

Jerry knew his days were numbered. That’s why he put his statue out there and bought the naming rights to unc Charlotte stadium. Trying to preserve his legacy.

He's not the only Panthers owner although he is the majority owner at about 60%, I believe. Others in the owner's group would have to agree IMO. It's not like when Ralph Wilson passed and left the Bills to his wife who sold the team. Wilson was a single owner. Plus, yes, the other 31 owners will have to approve the new owner and that new owner will be paying them a fee for buying the team, i.e. to join the club.

Where the hell else would the team move to that would be a better market than the Carolinas? The team moving is the last thing to be concerned about.

I don't know why people keep talking about moving. Where the hell would a team move to? LA is done, Las Vegas is locked up

St. Louis? Gtfoh
