Once it crosses the plane shouldn't that have been a TD? He crossed the plane then lost it.  I think it was a bad call.

wow. Terrible play by the Steelers.  If James catches that TD and maintains possesion the Steelers win. But instead he doesnt maintain possesion all the way through the catch, the very next play Ben throws a pick in the endzone and the Pats win. WOW

Catches the ball, crosses the plane, keeps control. Incomplete pass. 

Thought the ball could move as long as you keep control.

Thought it was a touchdown once you cross the plane.

o poo i forgot about that. All that stuff about maintaining possession while going down to the ground , should be  out of the window if he has possession when its across the white line

The Catch Rule is horrible. THAT wasn't a TD? Yet a RB just has to take one step, put the ball 1mm over the line and if it gets knocked away it's still a TD? Insane.

I thought the same thing about breaking the plane, but I think the deciding factor was that there was never a catch at all.  No possession, no touchdown.

I disagree, but based on the catch rule, I get the ruling.
