There will be a fine and a one game suspension. Repeat offender so the fine will be pretty stiff.

It was obvious TD had a lot of remorse for the hit and how it laid the guy out. No doubt about it. Remember that in TD's first game as a Panther, playing SS he laid out a defenseless receiver who never played another game. There had to be a flashback to that moment in the man's heart, because TD has been a totally different player since that time and a different man in the community.

It is a tough game and the rules have to apply equally, whether you have the Payton patch or not. We'll have to lump it through a game without him, and hopefully both TD and the other guy will both be back and playing in fine form soon.

I love TD-- my favorite player of all time. But that was a bad hit, and he knew it. Guys are just too big, strong and fast these days. No room for helmet to helmet hits anymore.

I'd guess he'll get a game for it, or at least a crazy big fine.

I still think that rule is BS...  The Packer player is chasing to tackle a Panther player...  He is on the field of play...   He is free game the way I see it...  Just dont hit him helmet to helmet...

This site is full of such homers. Between this and all yall crying about the refs that gave us a very questionable TD call- overturning call on the field, mind you- just further serves as evidence how many people here are blatant homers.

You're wrong, son. Just another blind ass homer. He lowered his helmet. I'm not saying he was going helmet to helmet, but he was definitely going helmet to shoulder and TD should know better.

I don't give a flying f u c k about CTE. They know what may happen to them and they still choose to play. Like Imma tell a grown ass man if they should play a game or not.

 

 

I certainly don't recall Davante Adams laying Cam out with a blindside block helmet to helmet. Not sure how that's possible, since they'd never be on the field at the same time. 

 

But yeah sure because the Broncos did it to Cam, Davante Adams should pay! Hurr durr only real men should be able to play football and get CTE its so manly to give people concussions on big hits.
