That's not what I am saying at all. But there is a difference between rape and lewd comments. There is a difference between punching someone and shooting them. There is a difference between calling someone a racist slur and threatening to hurt them if they enter your place of business. 

He did harm, but how much is not clear. The payouts were to prevent him from looking bad in public. Not to avoid jail time. There is a difference. 

Someone said he's worse than former Clippers owner Donald Sterling. I haven't seen that level of racism or misconduct so far. This isn't at Matt Lauer level sexual harassment either. He looks like a bad creepy guy. He does not look like a sex offender. Yet.

What kind of person equivocates over the degree to which a person is a sexual predator? 

When someone with his kind of power has been terrorizing women and minorities for as long as he has, you don't figure out just HOW much he's been sexually abusive. Or just HOW racist he is. 

There's always someone worse, and you can always make a person look better with this sealioning crap. "Well sure what he did is bad but is it THIS?" You're setting up the argument that a certain threshold of abuse has to be reached before it warrants a reaction, and you're arguing in bad faith about it.

You don't grade out sexual harassment, especially from people with this kind of power who've done it for this long. You nail them to the wall and make examples of them. You take their toys, tear down their statues they've erected of themselves, and make sure their name turns to ash in people's mouth. And then hopefully that example percolates through society.

Listen to yourself.... You sound ridiculous. He's not a predator at all from the information currently out there. We grade out improper behaviour all the time, it's why we have laws and sentencing. He didn't terrorize people... We've heard no evidence he forced anyone against their will. This is the sort of BS rhetoric that is stopping any real discussion from occurring in this country.

If you are caught in possession of marijuana the amount makes a difference in the eyes of the law... Nobody liked mandatory minimum sentencing when it targeted crimes and people they were sympathetic to.

he's absolutely a predator from the information out there. How many woman does he have to grope while insisting on putting on their seat belt? How worse of a request to shave someone's legs does it have to be? like what is your line that is crossed before "yeah this dude is a predator?" Because to me it sounds like unless he held a girl down and raped her than it was just boys being boys. 

He is not being sentenced. This is not a court of law. He will face no criminal punishment for this, and has paid out his ass to ensure so. You can't appeal to a non existent legal standard where none applies. However, people like him can't buy their good name anymore, and he is deserving of what he's getting.
