Richardson created a toxic work environment which is difficult to escape the effects of. You speak up, get fired, what do you tell a potential employer about why you were fired, if you get any interviews at all? We're not all Megyn Kelly. You don't speak up, keep your job and you could potentially be facing problems from the stress. Or you start a job search and, again, what do you say about why you're willing to leave such a 'dream job'?
