Not victim blaming. Who are the victims here? He was behaving inappropriately but I see nothing about acting without consent. Like I said, staff at every level of the company enabled him. Not just victims. His closest advisors didn't stop him, the janitors didn't stop him, the interns didn't stop him, the Head Coach didn't stop him. The security staff did not stop him. HR did not stop him. This has gone on for 25 years and no one got through to him. Everyone knew it was happening, everyone that stayed knew it was going to keep happening. 

Obviously someone finally was willing to make a stink about it after all this time or it would still be happening.

You can't claim everyone enabled while ignoring that the victims of his actions didn't come forward either.

People with that kind of power effect everyone, not just the people who they're directly sexually assaulting, or calling ******. 

When you say "well others enabled him" you're either absolving him of some of the guilt or just posting some dumb nonsequitor.

Haven’t read entire article or thread but fug this organization to high hell for their “holier than thou” family atmosphere they push to the league and fans and fug everyone that has been complicit, from prior GMs to coaches to Danny Morrison if he was aware.

Funny how this would probably never see the light were it not for weinstein and his victims that spoke up.

It's a valid comparison, especially given the serial nature of the behavior.

The most chilling part of it to me was reading that he would "groom" people. He'd start off with basic, harmless gestures and would gradually amp it up to full-blown creepy over time. That's exactly the way that pedophiles and sexual predators operate, and a pretty clear sign of somebody who knows what he's doing; not a misunderstanding or simply being raised in a different era.

Bingo. I wasn't really a fan of his to begin with, but now I despise him. Hate that he owns the team I've rooted for my whole life.
