Compare the defense when Munnerlyn is playing VS Shaq.

The one at fault is the coaching staff for being incompetent at determining who’s the better talent. We’re clearly better with Captain in VS Shaq.

All we ever used Munnerlyn for has been predictable blitzes and very low snap count all season. It’s mind-boggling how bad his usage has been.

You mean to tell me we are better with PFF's 99th ranked corner on the field than Shaq Thompson?

Munnerlyn gets beat like a drum in the slot, other than throwing him in as a corner blitzer he is worthless.

I mean if you guys want to defend this move and think Colin Jones covering Cobb isn’t the worst possible scenario, I don’t know what to tell you.

At least show you can evaluate talent and situations and put in Jairus Byrd - more athletic and shifty - against Cobb to have a better chance. But Colin Jones.

Cam will have to put everything on his shoulders again.

Smh. We have more corners than just Worley and Bradberry. Seymour will most likely plan the man assignment when it comes to it.

Colin jones plays the frog position when Shaq is not in the game. He isn’t the nickel back.

you watch the games dude, stop pulling sht out your ass

Saca man don't be so extreme. It's not that Black and White.

My first post in this Very Thread was stating saying "Start Cobb if you got him". I'm not happy about this move, but I understand it

Colin is garbage and Shaq is a wasted draft pick

Captain has been acting like a whiny, spoiled, petulant child all season, and threw a fit this week by storming off the practice field when he realized he wasn’t involved in the game plan to his liking. And you expect Ron to trot him out there like nothing happened? I applaud Ron for having the balls to bench his ass. Be a team player or go home.

I think both parties are at fault.

Captain has always been a JAG who thinks he's better than what he really is. He is over-hyped by some due to gimme interceptions and ducks thrown up to him 4 years ago thanks to our pass rush. However, due to our coaches and front office inability to address our weaknesses over the years, he is still better than who is behind him. Even if he has been getting burned this year.

With every game basically our playoff, we need any little bit of advantage we can get. Captain should be out there. Yes, Captain shouldn't be acting like a child, but Rivera should've been able to address this sooner and better. Rivera will never know how to handle players. I never have understood how he got the "player's coach" title. We can't afford for him throwing his weight around just to prove a point.

We don’t know what the game plan is today - but we did know that Munnerlyn did not a have a big role in it for today on tuesday. So why is his a big deal?

packers wlll run the ball aot today. They won’t want to risk Rodgers dropping 30+ times in his first game back.

our coaching staff knows what they are doing
