You don't understand how the NFL works. The move to LA is great for the NFL. It is only disastrous to the fans in Sand Diego and St. Louis.

Eh. I wouldnt go so far

It has been a disaster.  Hence part of the reason there were rumors swirling mid season that the NFL F'd up and may want to move back to SD.  SD is a huge market to, they already moved one team. There, they barely can sale out a 20k seat stadium unless the other team brings fans ti sale it out.  They arent going to generate the gear sale, media sales, and ticket sales they woupd had if they just stayed in SD.  They already git 1 team into LA at that was e ough to cover the market.

WHo is saying that?  I would be interested in reading more about it

Search Jerry Richardson on Twitter. Lots of ppl are just spewing poop, but most say it’s sexual. One person screen grabbed Twitter moments and it said “sexual misconduct”. I don’t buy that, I won’t buy anything until facts come out. The statement from th Panthers has me thinking possible discrimination.

In my world, reality, not selling out a 30,000 seat soccer stadium is pretty disastrous for the Chargers and the NFL. How in the sweet, sweet fug are we comparing fan support to an owner's misconduct in the first place?

You really think the owner of the Chargers is going to make less money? You think the NFL is making less money because of this?

The Panthers sellout thing is a joke anyway. The Panthers "sellout" games when the stadium is less than half full. The Panthers only sell a handful of tickets each year.

But no owner really cares about people in the seats. They care about TV money and shiny stadiums.

They are going to get the shiny stadium.  The TV money is false.  You dont see the NFL putting big primetime games just because the market size, they do to the matchup.

They barely sell the small soccer stadium. While the comment of the sellout is a joke. BOA is still 80-85% minimum and its one of the largest stadiums in the league seat wise.  Chargers are in a stadium that is less than half of BOA size and bareoy can get 60% of the seats filled unless another team comes in and fills it up.  They arent going to generate sales when it comes to jerseys shirts and anything NFL as they would in SD.

Heck if we're going to go as far narket size effecting it.  Jax is the largest media market by far in Florida and they have still been talks as a team that may move

When is the stadium half full?  This isnt 2001. Our fan base has improved a great deal

Well that is how our legal system works.  When someone make an accusation, the burden of proof is on them.  The accused is presumed innocent.   Sadly, a lot of people now a days has the same view as you.  Throw out an accusation and sit back and see if the accused can defend himself.

I was unaware that our legal system was perfect and never gets verdicts wrong with clear evidence present.

I think that the families of Daniel Shaver, Eric Garland, and many more would disagree with you on that one. As will I.

somehow, i agree with both of you guys. the system is meant to, and should, protect the accused until concrete evidence is offered of their guilt. That doesnt mean that people who are clearly guilty do not sometimes get off. It also doesnt stop innocent people from being convicted, both by a court of law and by public opinion, of something they didnt do and, at times, facing the death penalty.

if i could change just one thing about the public discourse when it comes to accusations of wrongdoing, it would be for people to hold off on judgments until a court and jury has had a chance to review all the evidence. that is what they are for, but everyone wants to be an amateur legal pundit nowadays. if the court and jury get it wrong, by all means blast them. but at least give the system the chance to work.

i don't care anything about trump.

JR is another matter.

i don't like the hoping for death or a ruined life just so we can have a "better" owner of a football team.

priorities are completely out of whack.

im with ya. i am hesitant to even go that far with the President. i didnt wish ill on Bush Jr. and Obama, and i wish no ill on Trump. There are policies in all three administrations i wanted to fail, and epically fail, but thats the President. i respect the office. then again i understand why people would get so charged up about politics that they would wish ill on someone. JR is certainly a different matter though. it very literally boils down to the fact that if you dont like the way he lives his life or runs his business, dont give him your money. dont wish ill on the man just so the football team can get "better." copying your quotes there cus i think you did them on purpose and i agree with the implication. just because JR leaves doesnt mean we would get a better Panthers team.
