To me the most important thing is it's an internal investigation rather than a police one. That said, getting in a legal firm shows this may not be a mere misconduct is proven.

I wouldn't use this as a celebration in the hope that JR will be ousted too. If any substantial malpractice, particularly discrimination, is proven, then it'll have a negative impact through shares, investors and even attracting players. It may possibly even dent attractiveness to fairweathers.

This is what strikes me as the most interesting aspect here.  Whoever speculated that there's a lawsuit threatened is probably correct.  If there is one, then that lawsuit probably references JR directly.  But rather than wait for discovery, the team itself (which is largely controlled by JR) has hired a couple of unimpeachable sources to investigate and manage the matter.  Sounds like something they want to get way out in front of, rather than waiting for the dam to burst.

I sure hope this is just some butt-hurt ex employee stirring up crap, because I admire JR and the general way he's conducted himself for the last 22 years.  I've had the good fortune to meet him on a couple of occasions and he seems genuine and comes across as if he really cares about the fans. 

For all we know, he told people on his staff to use the wrong bathroom, so I'm going to wait and see.  I suspect we'll get a lot more information on this soon, if there's anything to it.

My local news channel just referenced it as sexual misconduct rather than the broader terms used before. In the current climate this could go back decades. I always wondered exactly what transpired before JR fired his sons and removed them from the organization. Something the sons did fits in my brain better than post heart transplant JR. He just doesn't seem to have the energy.

He's not been suspended while the investigation is ongoing too, surely a company is still able to suspend its owner? Anything sexual, violent or financial and you would suspend the employee while an investigation is taking place.
