Redskins Tix a tough ticket to get on the street

Talked to a buddy of mine who is experienced at getting tickets off the street for most games. Said the Redskins was one of the toughest tickets he has seen yet to get off the street. 3X more fans looking for tix than tix available.

He ended up not finding what he wanted and went home. I told him these things were working against him:

1. it had been a month since the last home game

2. good football weather, comfortable with no rain

3. big redskins following in this area

4. a beatable opponent in the redskins

we were redskins tv market till the panthers joined the nfl,so there are alot of redskin fans in nc and sc.If you remember that was the team they were using in preseason in sc to get a feel if the two states could support a team

What fignewt said...in mid-coastal NC...you were either a Redskins or Dallas fan when I was growing up. I just stayed out of the fray with no real allegiance until the Panthers came to town.
