  1. 1. About what Power Ranking Would You Give the Panthers (Out of 32 NFL Teams)?

I think we beat the best team in football this past Sunday in Minnesota.

I’d have the rankings like this:

1.  Philly

2.  Pittsburgh

3.  Minnesota

4.  Los Angeles Rams

5.  New orleans

6.  New England

7.  Carolina

8. Jacksonville

9.  Atlanta

10.  Seattle

Rankings are all over the place but all in the top 10. It seems to be consensus that we're a top 10 team, but I notice in a few of the rankings we're in the top 5? Where would you rank us?

I'd say the only thing that has me worried is our lack of any sembelance of a deep passing threat. Otherwise our secondary showed up much better at home, pass rush was good, and our run game has been on point in the 2nd half of the season and is trending up with Kalil back. And I think Olsen will get in the swing of things this week or next week and help the passing game.

My personal list would be :

  1. Patriots
  2. Steelers
  3. Eagles
  4. Vikings
  5. Saints
  6. Panthers
  7. Rams
  8. Jags
  9. Chargers
  10. Falcons
  11. Chargers
  12. Cheifs
  13. Cowboys (Got Sean Lee back, get Zeke back on 12/24)
  14. Ravens
  15. Seachickens
  16. Bills

Your #1 just lost in Miami

Your #2 squeaked by Baltimore at home

Your #3 just lost their starting QB and shouldn't have beat us

Your #4 just lost to us

Did you watch any football this weekend?

This was actually a "what-if" scenario from one of the older Madden games, like PSX or SNES era. It was the battle of the expansion teams SB. Would be pretty cool to see it actually happen.

It was NFL Quarterback Club 96

I know you can't always win em all, but man that Eagles loss... and especially that fuging Bears loss -- Jesus Christ... is really starting to hurt down the stretch.

If not for straight up imploding in both of those games then we win both and are sitting at a pretty 11-2 with the #1 seed and tie breakers over both the Eagles and Vikings.

Hell, even the 2nd Saints game, not saying we would've won, but we really hurt ourselves badly that one too with Ron's dumbass half time decision, the fluky shitshow STs display, missing 2 million tackles on defense, receivers not realizing where the down marker is and a couple of egregiously bad calls from the refs.

Only game we straight up got outplayed and lost this year was the first NO game.  Even still, this is a weird team in that we still haven't looked all that good this year despite all that.  Like we have yet still managed to put it all together yet.
