Your idea of a pancake is a special one. He took his block up field and the dude tripped over his own feet when reacting to the play

"The pancake block is a term that is used by offensive line coach and offensive linemen in football to describe a block that leaves a defensive player flat on his back as the running back goes through the hole."

Meets all of the requirements of a pancake block to me. What is your definition of a pancake block @brandon_87

seemed like Kalil helped by driving his man into him but that DT had already lost that play so while it wasn't a flat out pancake it was still great play from the both of them

Kalil makes Norwell and Turners jobs much easier. Larsen did well but I can't remember a time someone wasn't helping him block.

I wonder how the Panthers view Moton. If they view Moton as someone who can replace Kalil after NEXT season then I believe that makes signing Norwell a lot easier with some of Kalil’s money free’d up

I'd guess he is viewed as a RT, so Williams insurance right now since next season is his last on the rookie contract.

This guy better be locked up this off-season.

Look at Norwell pancake a huge dude.

I highly doubt we will be able to. We already have the 2 Kaili's with hefty contracts and we just gave Trai Turner a massive deal. Taylor Moton is ready to replace Norwell next year and we must think about extending our very solid RT Daryl Williams.

I simply can't afford to tie up so much cap space on one position. The smarter play would be re-signing Star long term.
