We should’ve took Ryan Ramczyk or Garrett Bolles over CMC. And not have to overpaid for Kalil.

Is this a concern heading into the playoffs? I'm re-watching the game and man does Shula like overloading one side and it's not freeing(if that's a word) CMC up. It's too much traffic and I'm talking passing game here. We need to spread the offense out evenly. 2 WR on each side. They could back to feeding him the ball a lot like San Fran game, would that work?

The Vikings gameplanned to stop McCaffery and make the WRs beat them. I think he is fine, but I still wish he could have a screen thrown to him more than 1 time every 5 games...

Regardless, we won’t agree with each other. I think what you are asking for is extremely far fetched and unrealistic. You are not even appreciating the product this team has put together for us fans. We have. 9-4 team that is one game out of the #2 seed. Yet, you ridicule the decisions that were made. I think it is fair to say that we don’t win a game or two with cmc.

I’d disagree and say CB has been a need since Norman left. Lattimore would’ve been a great pick for us. 

I think CMC is a good player....I think he needs to be a slot WR tho. He would be a better version of Wes Welker.

How in the hell is saying one player is very good but not top ten pick caliber, an condemnation of the entire organization? You picked the wrong guy to pull that cop-out on. I have never once called for Rivera or Shula to be fired. How many on this board can say that. Not that it would make me unhappy if they were fired either. I’ve defended many moves and picks that people hated. Until this year. And it’s not like a bust scenario. Keep your drama to yourself. Or at least stick to the point of the conversation.

And the FS is Malik Hooker. He would be our FS for the next decade. 

And snaps counts also involve being able to handle them.

It drives me crazy, he should be touching the ball 15 to 20 times a game...shula just doesn't have the brain cells to use him. You give him 12 carries and another 5 to 7 receptions, maybe short ones...screens...flats...ECT and I bet he has a minimum of two 20 yard plays a game!

I'm not a huge fan of RBs or situational players in the first.  Also I'm not convinced that he will ever be the type of RB that some people expect but I do think he can help a team a win.

For the sake of discussion what other 1st round offensive player would have had a greater impact?  Like I said in another thread I think we chased need and probably could have approached the draft a little differently.

In general  , theres alot of 1st rounders this year that havent done much in their first NFL season. The only serious standouts I see were

Fournette, McCaffrey, Lattimore, Desean Watson , Tredavious White, TJ Watt, and Ryan Ramcyck. 

With hindsight being 20/20, we shouldve drafted Lattimore with 8 , Dalvin Cook with 40, and Kamara with our last pick in the 2nd. That wouldve been pretty dope.
