Yeah well it’s all based on stats and essentially best player. Pats could win Super Bowls without Brady so he shouldn’t even be in the running ever. Cam’s stats are terrible but he would be up there if it were true “most valuable.”

Agree about Cam, disagree about Brady...I think they could potentially be a playoff team without him, but no way they could contend for the Super Bowl. Probably a one-and-done team. Heck, they barely won last year WITH Brady, and that was by way of a miraculous historic comeback.

You people that are scared of the Saints are so annoying. We can beat them at home or at their house. I don't want an easy path. I want to beat the crap out of the Saints in front of their cocky fans and ride that wave to the Super Bowl.

I'll take an easy path if it gets us a ring

Easily the front-runner for MVP. Hate it for the guy- he was having a great year and the Eagles are for real.

That being said, their D is legit, but I'm not sure it's good enough to overcome the offensive liability that is Nick Foles.

Nick Foles is a great QB who could be a starter on quite a few teams. I'd hardly call him a liability.

???? Did you see them passes he made last night in relief of Wentz? Or his entire 2013 campaign? Foles never got a fair shake.

Yes, I've seen him play enough.  And so have the other 31 teams in the NFL that wanted nothing to do with him.  He was cut 1 year after that 2013 season.

He is an above average backup.  A below average starter.  Certainly not a "great QB".

Would he be a starter on other teams?  Maybe now, with all the injuries.  But not before.

AB is a beast and may very well be the best player in the league, but can you say that he’s the most valuable player? Pittsburgh has arguably the best running back and their other receivers are no slouches either...plus Roethlisberger is perennially a top-10 or fringe top-5 QB. Seems like they could manage a decent level of success without Brown.

But it seems like the NFL sort of equates “MVP” with the best player anyways, so I’m probably arguing a moot point.

I'd actually like to see a WR win an MVP award for a change. I can't remember the last time a non-QB or non-RB was MVP of the NFL.  Every year it seems that the MVP (and Heisman) for that matter is going to go the QB who has the best season unless a RB steps up and has an EXCEPTIONAL YEAR. Other players need not apply.

I'm not adding on it's just seemed like he was due for a injury like this or cracked rib he was taking way to many shots. He's young and tough as nails but really the young bull takes a million hits and once again we have to commend our Lebron aka Cam bwhen it comes to being a physical freak. Their bodies take a beating on the regular and they just keep playing big time salutevti the guy who gutted out that shoulder injury thrn played while recovering this year where Andrew can't even throw the football yet. We're lucky asf.

You're right...we are lucky. Cam's been hit a lot in his career, and even a physical specimen like him is always at risk for a season ending (or even worse...A CAREER ENDING) injury if he's constantly putting himself at risk by running the football so much.

We've seen Cam take a beating on some of his runs into the end zone. We've seen him leap over a pile, flip upside down after a hit, dive for the pylon, and even get concussed (the game in ATL last season). What happened to Wentz could've happened to him ages ago.

If he had been in the same situation as Wentz yesterday everyone on this board knows he would have done the same thing...LOWER his helmet and head for the end zone and he would've been hit the same way, below the waist.

I just hope we can keep the same good luck.
