"Shutdown" corners are assigned to the other team's top receiver. The Redskins use the same kind of "left corner / right corner" system that John Fox used here, which is actually one of Norman's complaints.

He covered one side of the field, not any specific player when he was here.  Many bitched about that fact.

I’d hate to lose Star, but I’d be ok losing Norwell to bring Josh back at the right price.  First couple of rounds in the draft on DE and WR, next couple on Safety and OG, next next year we use a first to replace LT.
