At 6:51 in the 3rd quarter we kicked a FG to take an 11 pt lead.

Then Ron shut it down.

We proceeded to have 4 subsequent offensive possessions as follows: 3 and out, 5 and out, 3 and out, 3 and out.  In that time, Minnesota (surprise surprise surprise) scored 11 pts and tied the game.

Then Cam made an amazing individual play (AGAIN) and pulled Ron and Mike's fatty fat fats out of the fire (AGAIN).

Sound familiar?

Yep - this is exactly how it ended.

Or maybe Cam just had 4 subsequent bad series. Funny how the Auburn fan wouldn't think of it that way.

Look we all get you love Cam...but WHY can't you EVER acknowledge the good blocking

Cam breaking that safety's ankles had nothing to do with blocking.

As a matter of fact, that play could well have been called back if a picky ref had been watching Kalil with a handful of a LB's jersey, pulling it as the LB was trying to get away.

So, yeah, I'm just gonna let Cam have this one for a good option read followed by an excellent open field move followed by a 62 yard run if you don't mind.

I mean,  it's not like we weren't trying to move the ball and get the first down in each of the series that are being referenced.  We ran with some success in spurts,  so of course running was a big part of the play calling.  That's really the preferred way to move the ball.  Not trying to say Shula didn't have some Shula-esque calls, but the players' lack of execution (including Cam's) tried to give the game away more than the coaches,  and, as it turns out, the Vikings' lack of execution may have tipped the scale.

May be late...but can Bersin get some love? Been nothing but a poo receptacle by posters here even though he has been clutch as fug for a long time. Good win for the TEAM. Bersin was a part of that, and made a catch (and held on to) a ball most could not. Time to end the hate for this kid!

Cam wasn't great, but neither was the play calling. Especially after Xavier Rhodes went down for a little while. They didn't bother attacking his replacement.

The defense won us this game. Offense looked mediocre (again), because we took our foot off the gas once we got a lead.
